Kanatech has developed their standards, practices, and procedures to align to Canada’s and global 2030 Energy Sustainability Agenda with achieving a Net-Zero Carbon initiative by 2050.

Trent Shott is a Fort McKay First Nation band member, he was born and raised in Fort McMurray Alberta, with deep roots in both the Fort McKay First Nation and Mikisew Cree First Nation. Growing up in Fort McMurray, Trent experienced the largest industrial growth in Canadian History in a rapidly changing environment. With encouragement from his family, friends and leaders in the community, Trent decided he would study at NAIT in the business program where he would go on to start a business during his studies and focus on his business full time. He then started Red River Power Corp which constructs solar farms in Southern Alberta with a focus on developing aboriginal employment in the renewables space. In addition, Trent is President of HippoHub an elearning and development solutions corporation. With 10 plus years of experience in the oil, gas, and renewables industries, Trent believes that cultural values can be maintained while simultaneously establishing positive relationships with industry to foster economic , industrial and social development in the community. It is his dream to combine his expertise in business, a strong sense of ethics, as well as his First Nation heritage to continually deliver a high standard of performance with Kanatech Industrial.

Ahmaed grew up in Dubai UAE during the city’s massive transformation into a world class destination for business/commerce. He understood that business opportunities began to develop in his homeland and decided to further his education in the United States and has graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical engineering. After completing his studies in USA Ahmed’s abilities (flourished into, or developed) into an accomplished career in the oil & gas, lubricant and fuels industries. With over 20 years of experience, he has served as a Senior Executive for BP, Kemira and Esnad. As Manager of BP’s Dubai operations, he has managed 9 exclusive distributors for BP & Castrol lubricants to ensure brand growth and increase market share in UAE, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Qatar. As a result, oriented manager and a solid reputation for corporate growth and a hard work ethic, he has been able to develop and utilize key contacts and relationships with distributors and customers internationally to maximize customer satisfaction.

Jason grew up in the Pacific Northwest, Kitimat British Columbia. Jason graduated from SAIT’s Power Engineering Program then started his career in refining and petrochemical plant construction, commissioning and continuous operations.
Over the next fifteen years Jason transitioned into learning and development at a Capacity of Global Senior Director opening and establishing various Global Channel Partnerships in various Eastern Hemisphere Locations with growing the annual reoccurring revenue from nothing to 100+ million until the company was acquired in 2019. Jason then founded Hippohub a competency-based eLearning & technology software company. Over the last 20 years Jason is responsible for international expansion of over $600million USD of technology trade into 40+ countries / markets.
